I read Trading volatility by Brennan Nykreim and was sharing some of the ideas i got. I do agree 1 month out would not be a good idea.

1) Buying deep ITM monthly SVXY calls after a significant drop in price.

@sagekhanna wishing you a speedy recovery. As someone new to trading volatility instruments, Would you recommend using the 50-30-20 strategy as a safe way to mitigate risks? can you share what not to do?
