Hello Seth, David, Market has fell lot more than yesterday and 2nd day of fall…But vxx/vix did not raise more than yesterday. Just wanted to understand any reasons. Thank you for sharing the wisdom.

Long Xiv/SVXY are easy interms of risk management compared to VXX. I meant in the sense..Market is rising like everyday and VXX is also climbing thats against our trade. Now if market corrects, that makes VXX to rise too. So, its like either ways, its making VXX to rise and making our trade to lose. In this market conditions, does it make sense to short the 3x index funds than shorting VXX/UVXY. Its so terrible to watch VXX this week… It looks like the year has so many headwinds for volatility trading ig this continues. If VXX rises when market as well rises, then we have the dangers of bond market…and already very hot market is lookimg for a breather and may increAse volatility. As long as you’re positioned with strong liquidity Time is on your side. The complex has been far worse in the past and for similar stretches so it’s best to focus on the long term imo.
