“For the remainder of the year, we have been expecting a peak of 25% in June followed by a drop to 12% in December. Our real-time numbers suggest that the peak might already have occurred in May and we continue to expect a fairly rapid decline in the second half, partly because most newly unemployed workers are on temporary rather than permanent layoff”GS: US unemployment now 22% – probably past peak
