I’m in the same position as you are, with a SVXY position acquired in the 100’s.
I’m afraid SVXY is not going back up into the 100s anytime soon. It’s going to take years, if it ever gets there again and one big VIX spike can wipe it all out again.

David, thank you for the encouragement and Seth Thank you for the offer to talk in private! I definitely got myself over-exposed on this one.
Hopefully gravity sets back in tomorrow or I will have to make some tough calls.

So what do you guys think of just being long SVXY very long term ?
I have a large percentage of my retirement account in SVXY. Too risky ? I know it can theoretically go to zero, but what are the odds?
I wonder what SVXY would do it, if for example the VIX spiked 300% … has anybody modelled such scenarios?
