Current look at VIX futures contracts. m1 is VIX/N8 and m2 is VIX/Q8. As you can see, VIX/N8 is set to expire tomorrow morning. If you have any questions please comment or let me know!!

Is it like the odds of VXX falling in the last 2 days is much higher than any other time…so shorting yesterday or today would have been better days…it sounds very complex understand
Not generally the more favorable idea to add a new short trade this close to expiration unless contango is high, which it is. Reason being much of the decay has already occurred and a new futures cycle is commencing. Positioning in my experience is better when considered out 30 days and not necessarily day-t-day.
