So here is the thing about 2001, per the Research Report: Back in 2001 the market never really hit a bottom signal given that the ATR and Williams % R neer hit above and below 80%. Therefore the deleveraging weren’t as extreme as they are today. Ergo, 2001 has a less probable analogue.
